Joseph kneels before the manger, moving his head sideways in awe. Mary likewise, kneels before her child, moving her arms in and out in adoration, and her head from side to side. The Christ child Himself moves both arms up and down together, beckoning all to come unto him. A camel, weary from its long journey across the burning lands of the East, lays down for its well deserved rest. It moves its head sideways. The donkey also lays on the floor of the stable, moving its head up and down. A lamb moves its head sideways, while its friend simply looks straight ahead at the miracle which has taken place. A large, rustic barn and illuminated star completes this fine re-creation of the First Noel.
